  • 3. Rest and sleep is most essential for weight gain. You need to take a moderate time to have a sound sleep. 6 to 8 hours of sound sleep is essential for any healthy person. This time is used by the body to recover itself from overstrains.


  • 4. Improper diet is one main reason why many people fails in maintaining the fitness of the body. Many people have the habit of not eating the most required proteins for the development of muscles. They eat simple carbohydrates and not eat a weight gain diet.


  • 5. People going for weight gain don’t give any importance to fitness training. The find it difficult to give stress to muscles while attending the workout programs. You don’t have to do heavy workouts. But stress must be given to muscles to grow muscles and attain body weight.


  • Fitness training like weight lifting is an essential part of weight gain. You cannot consume a large amount of food and remain idle to gain weight. The excess food intake will increase on the fat content in your body which is unhealthy weight gain. Rigorous exercise is essential to convert the extra calorie in your body into muscles. Development of muscles will burn the extra calories in the body. This will increase the strength and mass of the muscles in your body. Weight gain does not mean mere increase in the body weight.
